About pathway database

This web site aims to provide the means for accelerating communication between researchers who are interested in pathways and develop algorithms for finding pathways with special properties. You can upload information describing your paths, such as initial and final state (endpoints), potential, properties, method employed for locating the paths, and, of course, the pathway itself.

How to upload your pathway

• join the portal;
• send an e-mail to admin[at]pathwaydatabase.org so we can give you write access to the pathway database community area;
  
• find a place in the current site structure that best suits the classification of your pathway (a good starting point is 'Pathways' tab or 'Pathways' option in the navigation portlet);
• deposit your materials.
  

Pathway formats

There are no restrictions as to what kind of material can be published here. However, please, spend some time looking through the items already published on this website for inspiration --- it is important to provide meta data with every item you publish, so it can be efficiently located using site search facility. You can achieve this by filling in the "short summary of the content" field for every item you provide as well as adopting informative naming convention for your files.
